Here you will find my thoughts that helped me on my journey to re-establish my Health and Fitness…

Seven years ago
Seven years ago, life threw me a curveball – I had a heart attack. Yes, just like that, my heart decided to stage a rebellion. Turns out, it’s pretty good at getting your attention! In that moment, I realized my health wasn’t exactly the invincible fortress I’d imagined.
As a more mature man, I decided that aging doesn’t have to mean surrendering to creaky joints and endless doctor visits – it’s about finding what keeps you moving and feeling alive.
Recovering was no walk in the park (though I did plenty of those, too!). My learnings, in the world of fitness advice, is like trying to drink from a firehose: overwhelming and often not aimed at someone my age. I tried, I failed, I adjusted – and slowly, I started to figure it out. Over time, I discovered that fitness isn’t about chasing six-pack abs (though if you’ve got them, good for you!) but about waking up feeling strong, capable, and still ready to take on life.
And that’s how Fitness Vanguard was born. I’ve been saving my experiences and I am gradually adding to them here. It’s my treasure trove of ideas learned, tips that actually work, and a few stories about the times I’ve fallen flat on my face – literally and figuratively. If you’re starting your fitness journey, recovering from a health scare, or just looking for ways to keep feeling fabulous, welcome! You’re in the right place.
This blog is my way of shouting from the rooftops that it’s never too late to hit the reset button. We’ve got this – one step, stretch, and dance at a time. It’s time to embrace the adventure, as vanguards of health, happiness, and a whole lot of good vibes.
Cheers. Tim xx
